VEKTA shipping starts very soon!
Following our last post about the production status of the VEKTA mask, here finally a positive update! Production is running and masks will start shipping soon in a few days!
There has been an extra challenge regarding aesthetics of the silicone shell of the mask. Marks caused by the mold have appeared when running mass production, which was not encountered during the pilot run production (a few dozens units that were sent to reviewers mostly). It took 1-2 weeks to find the reason and solve it, but now the parts look awesome:
Still, the manufacturing pace is running a bit slowly to take care that no defects continue appearing. It is going to affect how fast the masks are finished, which means:
- Shipping starts in a few days and will continue during the 1st and 2nd weeks of December
- All pre-orders up to now will be shipped by mid-December
- New pre-orders until then will be shipped by mid-December too
You will get a notification of the tracking link when the mask is shipped. We appreciate you being patient, especially from the first pre-orders done back two months ago! We are really confident that the wait will be worth it!
