•  AVAILABLE NOW: ONE-WAY TRANSLATION

  •  COMING IN EARLY 2027: TWO-WAY TRANSLATION

  • REAL-TIME, NOT TURN-BASED

The app doesn’t wait for you to finish. It translates every few words, so your listener hears you about 2–3 seconds after you start speaking.

  • WORKS OFFLINE

Open the app once to download the language packs. After that, it works anywhere: on a mountain train, in a basement café or with roaming switched off.

  • PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your voice is processed on your phone. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is shared.

  • CLEAR VOICE, EVEN IN A CROWD

The mic sits inside your mask, right next to your mouth. In a busy station or a packed lobby, the app still hears you clearly.

Languages today:

  • English
  • Japanese
  • Chinese
  • Spanish
  • More on the way
  • BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS

Meet suppliers abroad, pitch to international investors or brief a freelancer in their own language. Taxi drivers can welcome passengers from anywhere.

  • TRAVELERS

Buy a train ticket in a small town, ask a local for directions, check in to your hotel or order dinner. It all works offline, so you don’t need a signal.

  •  CUSTOMER-FACING STAFF

Hotel receptionists, tourist information desks, shops and tour guides can help international visitors in their own language.

  • You Speak

The mic inside your mask captures your voice, and Moonshine speech-to-text turns it into text as you talk.

  • The App Splits It

Your words go to translation every 8 words or after a short pause, whichever comes first. You can adjust both in settings.

  • The App Translates

Pair text with an image to focus on your chosen product, collection, or blog post. Add details on availability, style, or even provide a review.

  • Your Listener Hears IT

Android text-to-speech reads the translation aloud through your phone speaker or your earphones.

  • Need a full sentence translated at once?

Hold the pause button while you speak and release it when you’re done. This helps when the meaning depends on the whole sentence.

  •  First time using the app?

It downloads the language packs it needs on first launch. If your phone is missing a voice for your language, you can add it in Android’s text-to-speech settings.

  • Two-Way Translation Is Next

Today the app translates in one direction. Our goal is a full two-way conversation, and we plan to release it in early 2027. Both people speak, both are translated, with the same short delay.

It will stay offline, free and private. Android comes first, iPhone follows.

Want to build your own voice app? You’re welcome to use our mask. A mic sealed inside a soundproof mask gives you clean audio wherever you are.

  •  Available now

    One-way

You speak, and the app translates your words for the person you’re talking to

  •  Coming in early 2027

    Two-way

You both speak, and the app translates for both of you. Use two masks, or one mask and a phone.

Help Us Build What's Next

We don’t speak every language our app does. If you speak Japanese or Chinese, try the app and tell us how well it translates. Have an idea for a new use case? We’d love to hear it.
